Fall Teen Art Class For Teens 11+ in Kitchener Acrylic Poster Design 📍 Kitchener Downtown Art Studio 🎨 Skill Level: Beginners & Continuing Teens (Ages 11–17) 🗓 Wednesdays | October 8 – December 10, 2025 | 5:30–7:00 PM 🎟 Full Session – 10 Classes | All Supplies Included This fall, let your imagination come to life with bold shapes, expressive colors, and unique poster-style acrylic art! This class is perfect for creative teens who love to draw, paint, and design—and want to level up their skills in a fun, focused, and encouraging environment. Each session combines step-by-step guidance with plenty of room for personal expression. Teens will work on a variety of poster projects using acrylic paints, exploring visual storytelling, stylization, and composition. We’ll mix sketching, lettering, textures, and stylized illustration to create fun, expressive artworks. The course wraps up with a bold, personal, large-format poster—designed and painted from start to finish. 🍂 What we’ll explore: — Acrylic painting tools and techniques — Brush control, layering, and texture — One-line drawing & expressive shapes — Painting without outlines (fruits, food, fantasy) — Creative lettering and poster text — Greeting cards, stylized plants & patterns — Textures: dots, stripes, brush marks — Poster layout, visual balance, and stylization — How to turn real photos into stylized art — Color tricks: black & white, limited palettes, tone-on-tone 🎨 Skills we’ll build: — Planning a painting from sketch to finish — Color blocking and contrast — Tonal value (light and dark) for strong visual impact — Composition, harmony, and visual storytelling — Creating mood, message, and personal style through design 🏡 Bright, Welcoming Studio Our downtown space is calm, cozy, and full of light.
