Service Description
Winter Art Classes 2025 for kids 9-11 years old in Kitchener. Location: Kitchener Downtown Art Studio Skill Level: All Levels Welcome This winter, young artists ages 9-11 can dive into the cozy and creative world of seasonal art! Our weekly 1-hour classes include all art supplies, making it easy for parents and inspiring kids to jump into creativity. Each session brings a new adventure in art-making, with themes focused on winter landscapes, snowy scenes, animals, birds, and whimsical winter illustrations. We’ll experiment with various materials—acrylics, watercolor, gouache, oil pastels, soft pastels, colored pencils, gel pens, mixed media, and also collages, and clay modeling. Classes cover essential art fundamentals, including composition, tonal value, and color theory, and introduce kids to famous artists and art movements. We’ll also explore multicultural celebrations, adding depth and diversity to each project. Our experienced instructors explain each step, showing kids how to start, create a composition, understand techniques, and, most importantly, express their creativity. Every class is a unique experience, perfect for young artists eager to create and learn! Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
