Update: We've just started our Spring session however, you can join us and pay for the remaining classes! Beginning on April 14, we have 10 classes in total. Spring Art Classes 2025 for kids 9-11 years old in Kitchener. Location: Kitchener Downtown Art Studio Skill Level: All Levels Welcome This spring, young artists ages 9-11 can dive into the blooming and spring world of seasonal art! Our weekly 1-hour classes include all art supplies, making it easy for parents and inspiring kids to jump into creativity. Each session brings a new adventure in art-making, with themes focused on spring landscapes and scenes, animals, birds, and whimsical illustrations. We’ll experiment with various materials—acrylics, watercolor, gouache, oil pastels, soft pastels, colored pencils, gel pens, mixed media, and also collages, and clay modeling. Classes cover essential art fundamentals, including composition, tonal value, and color theory, and introduce kids to famous artists and art movements. We’ll also explore multicultural celebrations, adding depth and diversity to each project. Our experienced instructors explain each step, showing kids how to start, create a composition, understand techniques, and, most importantly, express their creativity. Every class is a unique experience, perfect for young artists eager to create and learn!
