Art classes for Kids 9-12 years old

Service Description

Spring art classes 2024 for kids 9-12 years old in Kitchener. Every session is different! In each art class, we learn how to draw and paint. We use different materials - acrylic, watercolor, gouache, oil and soft pastels, colored pencils, gel pens, or mix them. We also work with paper/fabric collages and model clay. Sometimes we focus only on drawing and dry mediums. In each art class, we talk about art fundаmеntals - composition, tonal value, and color theory. We also study art history - world-famous artists, and art movements and we have some themes about Multicultural celebrations. Explore art fundamentals and techniques with various materials like acrylic, watercolor, oil and soft pastels, colored pencils, markers, gel pens, paper/fabric collages, and modeling clay. Our step-by-step approach ensures cohesive progress, from drawing out compositions to experimenting with diverse mediums. Dive into art history, drawing inspiration from renowned artists and movements. Join us for an engaging artistic journey, where every brushstroke and idea is embraced, cultivating a lasting passion for creativity. " Spring session 2024 includes 10 art classes. Tuesdays 6:30 pm / April 16 - June 18, 2024 / Kitchener 1 class = 1 hour. All supplies provided. Spots are available! Cancellation Policy

Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes / camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 2 weeks prior to the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled.
