Yulia: Art Educator and Artist
Yulia is a Canadian artist and art educator who has been inspiring people to create since 2015. What began as small home-based classes has grown into a vibrant art community in Downtown Kitchener, where Yulia and her small, amazing team teach art classes for kids, teens, and adults, run seasonal Art Camps, and host a wide range of creative workshops.
Yulia’s teaching is rooted in her signature Structured Freedom Method™, a gentle approach that blends clear structure with space for personal expression. She focuses on observation, composition, tone, and colors—helping students build confidence through illustration, sketching, watercolor, acrylic, pastel work, mixed media, clay, and textile arts. Her classes are known for their warm atmosphere, clarity, and supportive guidance.
Alongside her in-studio programs, Yulia offers online art programs, pop-up workshops, and guest sessions in other studios, with growing opportunities to teach in new locations across Canada and abroad.
She also organizes private art events—team-building workshops, birthday celebrations, and creative gatherings for families and friends.
Whether in the studio, online, or teaching in partner spaces, Yulia’s mission remains the same: to help people reconnect with their creativity in a gentle, supportive, and inspiring space.
How does it work?
Yulia and her team focus on creating a friendly, cozy, and supportive atmosphere for all students and explain very simply how to draw or paint.
In Kitchener, they teach weekly Art classes for all ages during a school year, run Art camps and Workshops.
In Guelph, Yulia teaches all ages by herself.
