This winter, turn your imagination into a full-color comic! In this 10-week course designed for teens, you’ll learn how to bring your characters and stories to life through expressive drawing, storytelling, and dynamic page design. Perfect for beginners and continuing students, this class guides you step by step — from your first sketch to a finished, full-color short comic. 🧠 What You’ll Learn ✅ Character Design — Create expressive faces, unique hairstyles, and detailed outfits that show personality. ✅ Dynamic Poses & Movement — Capture motion and energy in your drawings. ✅ Composition & Backgrounds — Build depth and atmosphere through layout and perspective. ✅ Lettering & Speech Bubbles — Add dialogue and sound effects that strengthen your story. ✅ Color & Visual Impact — Use mixed-media techniques to make your comic vibrant and polished. ✅ Comic Creation Process — Develop your story, plan panels, and complete your own short comic. 🖋️ Before the First Class Students are encouraged to bring a short story idea — their own or a favorite one to adapt into a comic.
