Our Spring Art Program for ages 6–8 is a joyful mix of painting, drawing, and mixed-media exploration. Perfect for beginners and returning students, these weekly 1-hour art classes help young artists build skills, spark imagination, and experience the happiness of creating art in a friendly, supportive studio. 🌸 A Playful Spring Creative Journey Each week brings a new spring-inspired project — blooming flowers, baby animals, birds and nests, spring landscapes, and cheerful seasonal scenes. Kids stay curious and engaged, knowing every lesson offers something new to discover. 🖼️ Every Session is Unique All our seasonal art sessions feature brand-new themes and projects. Returning students are always inspired by fresh ideas and new techniques to explore. 🎨 Explore a World of Materials Children experiment with watercolor, gouache, acrylics, soft and oil pastels, colored pencils, gel pens, and collage. They learn how to mix, blend, and layer materials to create rich, expressive artworks. 🖌️ Build Core Art Skills Through Play We teach the fundamentals of composition, shading, and color mixing in a playful, age-appropriate way. Every project includes guided steps that help kids build confidence and creative independence. 🌍 Art History and Cultural Inspiration Kids discover stories of famous artists and explore spring traditions and symbols from around the world — expanding their view of art and culture. 🏡 Bright, Welcoming Studio Our downtown Kitchener studio is spacious, light-filled, and welcoming. It’s a warm and inviting space where children feel comfortable experimenting and expressing themselves. 👩🎨 Ideal Group Size for Focused Learning With 6–10 students per class, each child receives plenty of attention and encouragement. Instructor Marien brings warmth, patience, and expertise to every session, supported by a helpful art assistant. 🤝 Art + Community Art class is not just about making art — it’s about connection. Kids make friends, share ideas, and feel part of a small, creative group that celebrates imagination and self-expression.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
