🌸 Spring Art Classes 2026 for Kids 9 -12 years old 📅 Wednesdays 6:30 – 7:30 pm 🗓️ April 8 – June 24, 2026 / 12 classes 📍 Downtown Kitchener Art Studio | All Supplies Included Art Instructor – Marien de Freitas This spring, inspire your child’s creativity and confidence through our Spring Art Program for ages 9–12 — a season filled with growth, color, and joyful self-expression. Each class blends art fundamentals with playful creativity, giving young artists a chance to develop both skill and personal style. ✨ Step-by-Step Skill Development Students continue building their drawing and painting techniques — from layered shading and brush control to understanding light, contrast, and composition. Every project helps them refine precision and artistic intention. 🎨 Variety of Materials & Techniques Throughout the session, children experiment with watercolor, acrylics, gouache, soft pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, gel pens, and mixed media. They learn how to combine materials and explore texture, layering, and effects. 🖼️ Spring Seasonal Themes Each class features a fresh spring-inspired theme — including portraits of baby animals, birds, nests, blooming flowers, spring landscapes, and still life compositions inspired by seasonal objects.
