These Spring Pastel Sketching classes for adults are a relaxing way to reconnect with drawing, slow down, and explore seasonal themes using dry and oil pastels. The course is perfect for beginners and for those who want to refine their sketching skills in a calm, supportive environment. We’ll begin with simple spring-inspired subjects and gradually build confidence toward more expressive pastel sketches. Each class combines clear, step-by-step guidance with freedom to explore your own rhythm, style, and creative voice. 🌸 What we’ll explore: — Dry and oil pastel techniques: layering, blending, and expressive mark-making — Sketching structure and proportions for objects and simple scenes — Light, color, and atmosphere inspired by spring themes — Using pastels to create depth, texture, and mood 🎨 Foundations we’ll cover: — Planning a sketch step by step — Composition and visual balance — Tonal values (light and dark) — Color relationships and harmony in pastel work 🖼️ Every Session is Unique Each class features a new theme and fresh projects. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
