This course is designed for adults who want to build a strong foundation in sketching while enjoying the freedom of adding color in a way that feels natural and personal. We’ll begin by observing, structure, and proportions—building confidence in sketching—and then gently bring drawings to life with color pencils or pastels, depending on your preference. 🌸 What makes this course unique It’s not just about materials — it’s about learning how to observe and sketch, and then choosing how you want to express your work through color. 🌿 What we’ll explore: — Sketching foundations: proportions, structure, and simple forms — Step-by-step approach to building a drawing from light sketch to finished piece — Adding color with colored pencils or pastels (your choice) — Light, color, and atmosphere inspired by spring themes — Creating depth, texture, and mood through line and color 🎨 Foundations we’ll cover: — Composition and visual balance — Tonal values (light and dark) — Understanding color relationships — Combining sketching with soft, expressive color 🖼️ Every Session is Unique Each class introduces new subjects and fresh ideas. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
