If youβve been curious about watercolor but not quite sure where to start, this is a gentle place to begin β or to continue your creative practice. June is a beautiful time to paint flowers β everything is in bloom and full of inspiration. In this 4-week watercolor series, youβll explore floral painting step by step, in a calm, guided process where you can slow down and focus on creating. Each session combines clear guidance with space to experiment and enjoy the process, allowing you to develop your own style while gradually building confidence. Over time, something naturally happens β you start to see your progress. πΈ What weβll explore: β Flower shapes, petal structure, and organic movement β Watercolor techniques: soft washes, layering, and gentle transitions β Light, color, and depth to bring your paintings to life π¨ Foundations weβll cover: β Planning a watercolor painting step by step β Composition and focal points in floral work β Tonal values (light and dark) β Color mixing for natural, expressive palettes πΌοΈ A New Experience Each Week Each class features a different flower and a new painting project. Youβll build skills gradually while completing a finished watercolor piece every session. π‘ Bright, Welcoming Studio Our downtown Kitchener studio is a calm, inspiring space β a quiet moment in your week to slow down and focus on the process. π©βπ¨ Small Group, Personal Guidance With a small group format, youβll receive individual feedback and gentle support β helping you grow in confidence and technique at your own pace. π€ Art + Community Youβre not creating alone. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
