In this 4-week watercolor series for adults, we’ll explore how to paint spring and early summer flowers using watercolor, working step by step and building confidence with each class. Each session combines clear guidance with space to slow down, experiment, and enjoy the process, allowing you to develop your own style while strengthening watercolor foundations. 🌸 What we’ll explore: — Flower shapes, petal structure, and organic movement — Watercolor techniques for soft washes, layering, and gentle color transitions — Light, color, and depth to bring floral paintings to life 🎨 Foundations we’ll cover: — Planning a watercolor painting step by step — Composition and focal points in floral art — Tonal values (light and dark) — Color mixing for natural, expressive flower palettes 🖼️ Every Session is Unique Each class features a new theme and fresh projects. Returning students always benefit from new ideas, techniques, and creative challenges — no repeated themes. 🖼️ A New Experience Every Session Each class focuses on a different flower and a new painting project. You’ll build skills gradually while completing a finished watercolor artwork every week. 🏡 Bright, Welcoming Studio Our downtown Kitchener studio is bright, calm, and inspiring — a peaceful creative space to relax, focus, and enjoy painting on early summer evenings. 👩🎨 Small Group, Personal Guidance With a small group format, you’ll receive individual feedback and gentle support, helping you grow in confidence and technique at your own pace. 🤝 Art + Community Art class is more than painting — it’s about connection. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
