Happy Thanksgiving! As it's the quintessential holiday to share your gratefulness, what better way to do this than through a card where you can express your feelings? But no worries if you have not had the chance to buy one just yet; Thankfully (joke intended!) we've got just the tutorial for you! Follow along to create your very own.

Step 1Homemade Thanksgiving Card-
To begin with creating your card, grab a sheet of paper. Fold this in half across the horizon, creating a front surface upon which you will be able to draw. Once you have completed this, it is time to begin on the visuals of the card!
Step 2
Start on your sketch by creating the body of the turkey. To do this, draw a pear shape figure, which you will be able to achieve by drawing a large circle with a smaller one on top; then, connect these with a cruved line and erase the sketch.

Step 3
Continue with your drawing by adding wings. To do this, create two curves on the inside of the pear shape, extending slightly. Then, connect the extended side of the wings to the side of the pear shape. Erase the sketches once again.

Step 4
Our turkey friend needs legs! Add two stumps to the bottom of the pear shape, with three-pronged lines extending from them. We are now done the general body, and can now add details!

Step 5
To give your drawing some life, add two dots as eyes. Between these, add a dimond shape, with the bottom side rounded. Extending from this same side, add a thin rectangle, again rounding the bottom edge. Above the eyes, draw another rounded shape.

Step 6
The main difference between a chicken and a turkey is the wings! To acheive this, add ovals with the bottom angle narrowed. You will need six in totals, enough to bear the word "thanks" within. Write these into each wing, begining with the rightmost wing and ending with the leftmost.

Finish your drawing by colouring it in whichever colours you wish! Orange and red tints will helps you acheive a Thanksgiving theme.

And there you have it! A beautiful, quick and easy card which any of your friends or family will be delighted to receive.
