🍁 Fall Sketching Classes 2026 for Kids 9–12 Years Old 📅 Saturdays | 10:00–11:00 AM 🗓️ September 19 – December 12, 2026 (12 classes) No class on October 10 📍 Yulia ArtSpace – Downtown Kitchener ✏️ All Supplies Included This fall, invite your child to explore the world through sketching in our creative and structured Fall Sketching Program for ages 9–12. These after-school drawing classes help students develop observation skills, understand structure and form, and express ideas through line, shading, and color. ✏️ Sketching Skills & Visual Thinking Students learn a step-by-step approach to sketching real and imaginative subjects—from everyday objects and animals to landscapes, scenes, and simple characters. They develop observation skills while learning proportion, contour, composition, and visual storytelling. 🖼️ Every Seasonal Session is Different All our Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer programs feature brand-new themes and projects. Returning students continue to grow and stay inspired with fresh creative challenges each season. 🎨 Explore a Variety of Dry Media Students work with graphite pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastels, and soft pastels. They learn techniques such as hatching, crosshatching, blending, layering, and shading to create depth and expression in their artwork. 🖌️ Build Strong Drawing Skills Through engaging projects, students develop observation skills, creative problem-solving, composition, shading techniques, and artistic confidence. 🌍 Art, Culture & Inspiration Students explore artist sketchbooks, drawing traditions, and creative inspiration from different cultures and time periods. 🏡 Yulia ArtSpace – Downtown Kitchener Our bright and welcoming studio provides a creative environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, taking artistic risks, and developing their skills. 👩‍🎨 Small Group Learning With 5–12 students per class, students receive individual attention while benefiting from the inspiration and energy of a creative group. 🤝 Art + Community Art classes are about more than learning techniques.
