🍁 Fall Sketching Classes 2026 for Teens 12+ in Kitchener 📅 Thursdays | 5:30–7:00 PM 🗓️ September 17 – November 5, 2026 (8 classes) 📍 Yulia ArtSpace – Downtown Kitchener ✏️ All Supplies Included Sketching is one of the best ways to improve drawing skills, develop observation, and build confidence as an artist. This 8-week Fall Sketching Course is designed for teens who enjoy drawing and want to strengthen their artistic foundations while exploring a variety of sketching techniques and materials. Whether students are beginners or already have drawing experience, sketching helps them learn to see, simplify, and capture the world around them. 🍁 Part of a Year-Long Creative Journey Our teen program is designed as a progression throughout the year: 🍁 Fall – Sketching ❄️ Winter – Characters 🌷 Spring – Illustration Students can join a single session or continue through the year, gradually building skills, confidence, and creative independence. ✏️ What We'll Explore — Sketching techniques and visual thinking — Composition and the rule of thirds — Line, shape, form, and proportion — Perspective drawing — Pencil, pen, and ink sketching — Quick sketches and longer observational studies — Objects, landscapes, and cityscapes — Adding color with a variety of materials — Exploring different sketching styles 🖼️ Every Seasonal Session is Different Each season features new themes, projects, and creative challenges. After Fall Sketching, students can continue into Art for Teens, where they work on personal projects of their choice while receiving guidance, feedback, and technical support from the instructor.
