🎨 Summer Art Camp for Kids (Ages 6–12) A full week of creativity, nature, and art-making 📅 August 17-21, 2026 (Monday–Friday) ⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM 📍 Downtown Kitchener Art Studio 🎨 All art supplies included Drop-off: 8:30–9:00 AM Pick-up: 4:00–4:30 PM 👫 Teens 14+ are welcome to volunteer 🎨 Summer Nature: Sketch, Draw, Paint, Make This full-day summer art camp invites children to explore creativity inspired by nature. Campers will sketch, draw, paint, and create using a wide range of materials, both in the studio and outdoors. Each day includes: 🎨 two guided art classes (morning & afternoon) 🎲 art games and creative warm-ups 🌳 a supervised walk to Victoria Park for outdoor play, sketching, and observation (weather permitting) 🧩 independent and collaborative projects 🖌️ hands-on work with paints, pastels, pencils, markers, and mixed media 🖼️ End-of-Week Art Show At the end of the final day, we will host a small Art Show where families are invited to see the artworks created by the campers throughout the week. 🏡 Studio & Outdoor Environment All indoor activities take place in our bright, welcoming studio. Outdoor activities are fully supervised and planned with care. Campers should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a hat, and sunscreen (SPF 15+). Please label all personal items. We are not responsible for lost or missing belongings. Campers should avoid bringing money, electronic devices, or valuables. 🥪 Lunch, Snacks & Water Campers must bring their own lunch, snacks, and a filled water bottle. The day includes lunch and one snack break in the morning and afternoon. 🥜 Nut Aware Camp Please do not send products containing nuts or labeled may contain nuts. Children should not share food. 🤒 Illness Policy If your child shows symptoms of illness during the day, you will be contacted and asked to pick them up within 30–45 minutes. 📝 Pre-Camp Information & Registration One week before camp, families will receive an email with forms and final details. Please ensure your email is active in the registration system and that you are subscribed to receive emails. If minimum enrollment is not reached 2 weeks before the start date, families will be notified and the camp will be canceled. A creative, structured, and joyful summer week designed for kids who love art and making.
