☀️ Summer Art Classes for Teens 11–12+ in Kitchener Looking for a creative way to spend the summer? These weekly art classes allow teens to draw, paint, experiment with different materials, and develop their artistic skills in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. Whether you're interested in sketching, painting, illustration, mixed media, or simply enjoy creating, this summer program offers a chance to explore a variety of materials and techniques while developing your own artistic style. 📍 Kitchener Downtown – Yulia ArtSpace 🎨 All Skill Levels Welcome 🗓 Saturdays | July 11 – August 29, 2026 🕙 10:00 – 11:30 AM 🎟 7 Classes | All Supplies Included ☀️ No Class August 1 👩‍🏫 Art Instructor – Marien de Freitas ☀️ A Unique Summer Format Available only during the summer season, this special program allows teens to explore a variety of materials, subjects, and creative approaches. Each class introduces a new artistic experience, making summer the perfect time to experiment, discover favourite materials, and try techniques that may not be explored in a regular course. 🎨 Summer Creative Schedule 🎨 July 11 – Drawing & Sketching 🎨 July 18 – Watercolour Painting 🎨 July 25 – Acrylic Painting ☀️ No Class August 1 🎨 August 8 – Soft Pastels 🎨 August 15 – Mixed Media 🎨 August 22 – Creative Illustration 🎨 August 29 – 3D Art 🎨 Explore a Variety of Art Materials Students work with drawing tools, watercolour, acrylic paint, soft pastels, colored pencils, mixed media materials, and sculpture techniques. ✨ Structure + Freedom Each class combines artistic guidance with plenty of freedom for personal interpretation, experimentation, and creative decision-making. 🏡 Yulia ArtSpace – Downtown Kitchener Our bright and welcoming studio provides a creative space where teens can focus, experiment, learn, and create alongside other young artists. 👩‍🎨 Small Group Learning With small group sizes, students receive individual feedback and support while benefiting from the inspiration and energy of a creative group. 🤝 Art + Community Teens create alongside other young artists in a welcoming and supportive environment where creativity, individuality, and artistic growth are encouraged.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation: No refunds! Art credit is available for the next classes/camps. Late registrations are accepted. Art classes - you can join us any time and pay for the remaining classes or have make-up classes. If you miss a class during a session, you'll have a make-up class. Art camps - you can register during an art camp week for the remaining day(s) or half-day(s). If minimum participant numbers have not been reached by 1 week before the start of Art classes/camp, you will be notified and Art classes/camp will need to be canceled. You will get a refund or you may transfer your payment to other classes/camps.
