About the Teacher

Yulia Balobanova

I have been teaching art since 2015 and my mission has always been to inspire people to create their own art, especially if they do not have any previous art experience. I truly believe that everyone can do art with the right guidance. And with simple materials that you probably already have in your home!

  • Where are you located?
    Two locations now! Main Studio: Downtown Kitchener, ON. The address is 44 Gaukel street. My studio is located on the second floor. I have a small studio for private classes and a big space for group lessons! See the map. Home Studio: South End of Guelph, ON. 2 Clairfields dr E, Guelph
  • Is there parking?
    Main studio 44 Gaukel street, Kitchener: Yes, a big parking lot is located just beside the building “44 Gaukel”. The parking is free after 5 pm and on Sundays. Street parking is also available. Home studio, Guelph: Driveway or street parking are available.
  • Do you teach kids or adults?
    Both! We have weekly based art classes for all ages - kids, teens, adults and also Art workshops. Yulia can also host a date night/birthday party/family or friends gatherings and a team-building painting night for you and your colleagues.
  • Can I come to your studio to see artworks in person?
    Yes, sure! Please, contact me to book an appointment if you’d like to see my original artworks in person before purchasing them. You can check out some of them here. You can come to my studio in Kitchener or Guelph.
  • What’s the difference between an art class and an art workshop?
    An art class is a group activity with multiple kids or adults, usually every week during the session. An art workshop is a one-time private event for your friend group, date night, one-on-one experience, or a team-building activity! Art classes are hosted at my studio in Kitchener and Guelph, art workshops can be hosted anywhere you’d like.
  • Do you run Art camps?
    Yes! In Kitchener location we run art camps for kids 6-12 years old.
