As Father's Day soon approaches, you may be looking for a way to celebrate your dad. In this blog post, we have created a sweet and simple card tutorial to help you out!
For the first step, find a blank piece of paper and fold it in half. The front of the card is where you will create your drawing. The inside is where you can write a personalized message.
Once your card is folded, you can begin the drawing portion of this tutorial. To start, we will create the outline of the hand. Feel free to hold up your own hand for reference!
Next, draw in the details of the fingers, using oval shapes.
Then draw an outline around these shapes, within the confines of the hand. Any connecting lines can be erased to create a more cohesive look.
Now write '#1 Dad' inside the hand. For our letters, we chose a blockier shape, but you can write this in whatever style suits your liking.
For the second to last step, add a personalized message to the card. We chose a simple 'Happy Father's Day', but this can be anything you want.
Finally, colour in your drawing!
