Summer Art Camps in Kitchener

Updated: May 22

With summer soon approaching, many parents are looking for a way to keep their little ones entertained while school is out. If that's you, look no further, as our summer art camps are now open for registration!

Summer Camps in Kitchener 2024

Our camp is open to children aged 6 - 12 years old. We will be hosting camp for three weeks during July and August, with each week centered around a different summer-related theme. These themes include summer nature, summer adventure, and summer travels.

As seen above, the three weeks available are in Kitchener:

  • July 8 - 12

  • July 22 - 26

  • August 19 - 23

When registering, you will have the option to sign your child up for either full-day classes or half-day classes.

Why Art camp?

Our camp provides a wonderful opportunity for your child to engage their creative side. Each day our experienced instructors will lead campers through numerous artistic activities, including guided lessons, independent and group projects, and art-related games. During these times they will have the chance to explore a variety of mediums and techniques, as well as build upon important skills, such as attentiveness, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Throughout the day, we will also spend time both inside the studio and out, weather permitting. Our building, at 44 Gaukel Street, is located beside Victoria Park, so campers will have the chance to interact with nature and draw inspiration from the outdoors!

Having access to a space dedicated to creativity and personal expression can be essential for a child's development. Practicing art allows them to learn the key ability to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas in constructive and positive ways, and being surrounded by others who can guide and encourage them will further foster this. We have always and will continue to, strive to support your child in all their endeavours and provide them with the best experience possible.
